Customer Service Representative

Join us in portraying a positive company image among ocean export customers through timely coordination with various stakeholders. Your efforts will contribute to achieving our company's bottom line and overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure sales personnel provide necessary quotes, SOPs, and instructions before processing bookings.
2. Contact ocean export customers for KYC/cargo readiness and obtain booking instructions.
3. Make bookings with designated carriers based on received instructions.
4. Request shipping instructions from shippers and forward to the document department.
5. File VGM with carriers before documentation cutoff time.
6. Ensure accuracy of booking information including HS CODE, special requirements, and documentation details.
7. Coordinate activities from obtaining booking instructions until MBL/HBL issuance with 100% accuracy.
8. Coordinate with stakeholders for uninterrupted service level from cargo receipt to final destination delivery.
9. Maintain updated system records and pass relevant information to the finance division.
10. Timely coordination with customers, agent networks, and responding to their requirements.
11. Assist with communication and negotiation with carriers for issue resolution.
12. Approve carrier invoices and ensure adherence to company guidelines.
13. Scan and upload invoices, shipping documentation, as per company guidelines.
14. Report and document any irregularities to Supervisor immediately.
15. Ensure shipment tracking and share PODs with relevant stakeholders.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions.
- Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
