Special Officer/executive Assistant to Executive

**JOB PURPOSE**:
Responsible for supporting the EC through a combination of project management, writing and editing, research, and high level administrative and relationship support functions. The incumbent is expected to work independently in managing internal and external special projects in coordination with other departments and organizations on behalf of the EC.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
- Report and support the EC in his daily work in a wide variety of areas - including preparation for meetings, development of presentation materials, talking points and speeches;
- Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the EC, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature, and determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
- Works closely and effectively with the EC to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
- Involved in a wide variety of events/ meetings involving management or taskforces both internally or externally, government agencies, private stakeholders, press interviews on behalf of the EC as assigned and take notes/minutes and prepare summary reports for the EC
- Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles assignments expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
- Manage contents of the EC’s social media account(s) (if any)
- To oversee the preparation of press releases and other media communications
- Act as liaison officer between EC and heads of divisions or external agencies, as needed
- Vet through all internal and external communication materials
- Ensure that ethics and protocols are adhered to and act professionally and responsibly at all times
- Be prepared to work extra hours (including weekend) when required to perform any duties directed by the EC
- Undertake special assignments and ad-hoc functions as assigned by the EC.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of related experience in serving CEO/Directors/Chairman office handling administration and operational support to Senior Management
- Matured, motivated and able to work independently.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Strong and proven communication, follow-up and interpersonal skills.
- Wiling to travel locally and overseas if required.
- Proactive, resourceful, responsible, responsive and flexible to changes
- Able to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Maintain integrity, strict confidentiality and interact professionally with all levels
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
