The job scope for the position of Special Officer to CEO is multifaceted and includes executive support, policy development and analysis, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, project management, communications, confidentiality, and discretion.

The responsibilities
- Supporting the CEO in managing and overseeing special projects;
- Ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards;
- Coordinating cross-functional teams, drafting speeches, articles, write-ups, presentations, and correspondence for the CEO;
- Conducting thorough research on the event topic, audience, and key messages;
- Assisting in creating visually appealing presentation materials;
- Coordinating with the communications team to disseminate key messages and maintain consistent branding across various channels;
- Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information, including internal discussions, legal matters, and investigative activities, and
- Exercising sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential documents and discussions.

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, Communication, or any related field recognized by the Government. A postgraduate degree will be an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a regulatory agency, government body, or legal/consulting firm specializing in competition law.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Malay, including the ability to prepare clear and concise speech, media content, article and presentations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office as well social media
- Strong interpersonal skills such as negotiating, problem-solving, and knowledge-sharing.
- Ability to work under pressure with the right attitude, strong integrity, upholds teamwork principle, highly resilient with professional character.
- Able to start work immediately will be added advantage
- Willing to take up 1 year contractual position (renewable).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
