**Overall Purpose of the Job**:
To improve profitability and enhance competitive advantage by accessing optimum contract rates and commercial terms with new and existing clients. Managing the commercial input of proposals, bids and tenders. Ensuring full compliance with all Expro Group internal procedures and legislation. Ensure accurate and complete compilation of commercial packages for enquiries, invitations to tender and contract extensions. Providing analysis of the market and competitor’s positions to maximise the benefit to the area of responsibility.

**Key Activities and Accountabilities**:

- Devise, develop and deploy appropriate commercial models, pricing structures and incentive schemes into new bids, proposals and tenders.
- Undertake the collection and analysis of market and competitor information.
- Review, manage and propose amendments to existing contract rates, pricing structures and commercial terms.
- Prepare business cases and analysis to support investment opportunities.
- Preparation and submission of Bid Evaluation Reports for Group approval.
- Assist in client commercial negotiations.
- Research and report upon the fiscal probity of clients new to Expro.
- Liaison with Group and local Finance departments.
- Provide Management reports on the opportunity portfolio, order back log, forecasts, risked revenue, contribution forecasts, indicative capital expenditure forecasts, risked and full values of priced enquiry book, key opportunities and status, bid win rates and analysis and regional product line trends etc.
- Introduce and rollout additional systems features such as market share analysis competitor tracking client relationship management etc as and when necessary.
- Build and maintain a portal site for corporate market intelligence reports (Spears, Douglas Westwood, Barclays, RigZone etc) and coordinate with regions to use site as the repository for a regional market intelligence data and reports
- Coordinate the compilation of market surveys, pre-qualification, vendor questionnaires, expressions of interests, proposals and other client requested material.

**Job Knowledge and Qualifications**:

- Degree in business, marketing, or finance with a focus on the oil and gas industry preferred.
- Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in the relevant role, with a proven track record of team management.
- Demonstrates strong business acumen.
- Proactive individual who is not only involved in day-to-day activities but also dedicated to strategic planning and forward navigation.
