**Human Resource and Admin Executive**
Based in Damansara Height KL, Wanderlust + Co is stocked internationally across 400+ retailers, primarily in the USA and Australia. As the **Human Resource and Admin Executive** for Wanderlust + Co, you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director (MD) and other department leads. You will be responsible for managing our company’s recruiting, development, retention and performance programs. Your responsibilities also include looking out for the team’s well-being, updating HR policies alongside the Finance & HR Manager, overseeing hiring and retention processes, as well as managing team building and development activations. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong recruiting background in Human Resource departments, thorough knowledge of labour legislation and a business partnering mindset.
Ultimately, your key role is to recruit passionate and like-minded team members, so we can source, hire, develop and retain quality employees, and help them achieve work life balance.
**Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to): HR**:
- Effective at sourcing, screening, and interviewing for open roles, coordinating with the hiring manager, as well as the MD, to fill roles within the desired handover period or growth/project phase; if it’s a newly created role
- Onboarding and offboarding team members, alongside the Finance & HR manager
- Work on the general organisational chart with the MD, to best understand growth plans,limitations within departments, in order to hire the best fit for teams, within the HR Budget
- Measure employee retention and turnover rates, as well as suggest and implement improvementsuggestions - if it’s specific to a role / department
- Assist with the planning of performance review procedures (e.g. relevant feedback as and whenneeded, plus quarterly/bi-annual/annual reviews and 360° evaluations)
- Monitor HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them, and problem solveif there are any grievances
- Work alongside the Finance & HR Manager on labour legislation issues, as well as review andmaintain HR software (including leaves, claims etc)
- Assist across research, or general HR/ops admin or related topics
- Work with MD on training needs, to coordinate learning and development initiatives for team,including leadership/management development programs
**General Admin**:
- Overseeing general office and team management, as well as day-to-day administrative tasks
- Maintain and coordinate IT hardware and software, with the assistance of the external technicians
- Oversee the general office space, to ensure everything is well in order, and the team is working in an optimal and safe environment
- Assists in recording and maintaining financial transactions
- To assist with ad hoc tasks
**The following skills will ensure you excel in this role**:
- Proven work experience as a recruiter, HR Executive or similar role - 2-3 years
- Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting
- Good knowledge of labour legislation (particularly employment contracts, employee leaves andinsurance)
- Demonstrable leadership abilities and ability to pass that knowledge along to managers andexecutives within the team
- Solid communication skills
- BSc/MSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field - preferable if overseas graduate
- Highly committed with a pro-active, ‘can-do’ attitude
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Keen eye for detail
- Organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
- Be a team player with an open, honest and straightforward style of communication.
**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
