Front Desk Supervisor Assistant

**Position Summary**:
The Front Desk Supervisor Assistant assists in overseeing the front desk operations and supporting the Front Desk Supervisor in managing staff, handling guest interactions, and ensuring operational efficiency. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to guest service.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Support to Front Desk Supervisor**:
- Assist the Front Desk Supervisor in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out procedures, room assignments, and guest inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Front Desk Supervisor to ensure smooth coordination of front desk activities and adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
2. **Guest Services**:
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures as needed, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to the Front Desk Supervisor when necessary.
3. **Administrative Support**:
- Provide administrative assistance to the Front Desk Supervisor, including maintaining guest records, processing payments, and preparing reports.
- Assist in managing room inventory, reservations, and billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
4. **Staff Training and Development**:
- Support the training and development of front desk staff, including new hires, by providing guidance and assistance as directed by the Front Desk Supervisor.
- Assist in monitoring staff performance and providing feedback to enhance their skills and customer service abilities.
5. **Front Desk Operations**:
- Assist with managing room assignments, inventory, and rates to optimize occupancy and revenue opportunities.
- Ensure front desk procedures are followed consistently, including handling of cash, credit card transactions, and guest information.
6. **Quality Assurance**:
- Assist in conducting regular audits of front desk procedures and guest interactions to maintain high service standards.
- Help address any deficiencies or areas for improvement identified during audits, working closely with the Front Desk Supervisor to implement corrective actions.
7. **Technology Management**:
- Utilize hotel management software and other technology tools to facilitate front desk operations, including reservations, guest communications, and reporting.
- Assist in training front desk staff on the use of relevant technology and troubleshooting common issues.
8. **Communication**:
- Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate guest services and resolve operational issues.
- Provide clear and concise instructions to front desk staff regarding their roles and responsibilities.
9. **Compliance and Security**:
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor security issues and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining safety and security procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.
**Salary**: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
