Key Responsibilities
  • Business Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and financial models, to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Inventory Management and Optimization: Define and implement systems to manage inventory levels, analyze turnover ratios, and optimize inventory management practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Own the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate company performance, and provide actionable insights to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Grow, lead, and supervise the finance team, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and professional development of team members.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Navigate complex financial regulations and standards across geographies, ensuring the organization remains compliant and mitigates risks.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in a finance management role, including team and people management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels to drive outcomes.
  • Experience with complex organizational structures requiring consolidation of finances across entities/geographies is preferred.
  • Background in financial planning, forecasting, and regulations around physical goods in the retail and/or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of implementing processes at organizational scale and driving operational excellence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
