Sales Development Manager

About the Job
The Malaysia Sales Team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Manager to drive business growth in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell software solutions and services to current and prospective customers, working closely with other sales and pre-sales personnel to position and leverage sales opportunities.
- Qualify potential customers, assess their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer sites, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement territory and account management plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in a relevant sales role, preferably in the software industry.
- Advanced knowledge of strategic sales techniques, industry software and hardware terminology, and concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics, and develop effective sales plans.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, initiate and lead projects, and travel frequently.
- Knowledge of SAS solutions and services is preferred but not required.
