Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Enablers:
  • • Collaborate closely with project teams and procurement specialists to establish and optimize vendor relationships.
  • • Develop strategic partnerships with critical suppliers, driving mutual growth and success.
  • • Create and implement tactical plans for regions, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and digitalization of the procurement-to-payment process.
  • • Deliver exceptional experiences for both internal and external customers.
  • Tendering:
  • • Ensure that tendering teams receive proactive support and guidance.
  • • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value optimization through collaborative efforts.
  • • Conduct thorough risk assessments and address potential issues during the tender phase.
  • • Secure back-to-back conditions for terms and conditions.
  • • Integrate Request for Quotation (RFX) processes into due diligence procedures.
  • Execution:
  • • Negotiate commercial agreements with vendors to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • • Align roles and responsibilities between the Procurement Solution Supply Chain (PSSC) team and project managers.
  • • Monitor critical deliveries and progress.
  • • Foster strong relationships with project execution teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • • Detect and mitigate potential risks related to procurement and supply chain early on.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or any relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or project management in a project context.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience within Supply Chain/Procurement in a project-based setting.
  • A proven track record of driving end-to-end transformations to optimize current setups.
  • International experience is highly valued.

Remuneration:

The estimated salary for this role is up to MYR 28,000 per annum.
