Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational matters of our accounts, including cash management, transaction processing, and document preparation.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operational matters of the accounts.
  • Cash in and cash out checking for daily and weekly.
  • Performing transaction key in and checking.
  • Preparing documents for management accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly closing of accounts.
  • Monitor bank balance, cash flow position and fund placement.
  • Assist in any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  • Answering queries and providing solutions.
  • Execute direct tasks from superior.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and company secretaries.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or other accounting-related fields.
  • Minimum requirement of capability in reviewing Full Set of Accounting (Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger, Management Account, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).
  • Strong in double entry.
  • 3 – 4 years of working experience.
  • Familiar with Excel (Lookup Features), Word, PowerPoint, SQL, and relevant accounting systems.
  • Capable of working independently with little supervision.
  • Good command of spoken and written English & Malay.
