We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operational matters of our accounts, including cash management, transaction processing, and document preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operational matters of the accounts.
- Cash in and cash out checking for daily and weekly.
- Performing transaction key in and checking.
- Preparing documents for management accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly closing of accounts.
- Monitor bank balance, cash flow position and fund placement.
- Assist in any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Answering queries and providing solutions.
- Execute direct tasks from superior.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations, and other regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and company secretaries.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or other accounting-related fields.
- Minimum requirement of capability in reviewing Full Set of Accounting (Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger, Management Account, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).
- Strong in double entry.
- 3 – 4 years of working experience.
- Familiar with Excel (Lookup Features), Word, PowerPoint, SQL, and relevant accounting systems.
- Capable of working independently with little supervision.
- Good command of spoken and written English & Malay.
