Job Description and Requirements
Position: Internship for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Students
Reporting Structure: Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and tooling, minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency.
- Support the continuous improvement process, development process, and design workflows to reduce unnecessary stoppages and breakdowns.
- Investigate process-related issues and defects caused by machines, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Provide support to resolve production and quality issues.
- Contribute to technical research and develop solutions to engineering problems.
- Participate in weekly maintenance programs, typically conducted during weekends.
- Perform other tasks assigned by superiors that align with basic operational needs.
Academic Qualifications and Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Duration of 3 to 6 months internship, with internship and attendance allowance provided.
- Strong commitment and good attendance record.
- High level of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Hardworking and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- No prior experience required, with a willingness to work in Shah Alam.
Work Location: Shah Alam, Selangor.
