We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team at Lam Research. As a key member of our Global Operations Group, you will play a critical role in driving the engine of our global business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide dedicated support to our supply chain operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement, inventory control, and planning of production materials.
  2. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline processes, and improve efficiency.
  3. Ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and maintain inventory at minimum acceptable levels.
  4. Coordinate with finance and accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs and review requirements for acceptable inventory levels.
  5. May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system and work with customers to audit inventory levels.

What You'll Do

  1. Provide supply chain operations support at our factory, tracking and monitoring product transitions, supplier readiness, and qualifications.
  2. Manage technical and non-technical supply chain projects using an internal customer perspective.
  3. Provide forecasting, planning, and strategic execution support to the supply chain.

Other Responsibilities

  1. Represent supply chain readiness for manufacturing build and system delivery/shipment.
  2. Develop and monitor risk mitigation strategies and coordinate root cause corrective actions.
  3. Lead and participate in projects to resolve problems or support continuous process improvement.
  4. Develop timely reports and key performance indicators to identify and monitor project delivery challenges.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a BS degree in Business or Engineering and at least 7 years of experience in the industry. You should have good business acumen, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams and with stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving methods, verbal, and presentation skills are also essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent knowledge of program management, including previous experience working with supply chain and a thorough understanding of best practices. SAP knowledge is a plus. Highly competent communication skills and the ability to interact with cross-functional teams, sponsors, management, and business partners are also required.
