Job Description

We are seeking a talented Area Sales Manager (South West) to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies in support of business objectives and sales forecast within the wholesaler/contractor. This role requires a strong understanding of market trends and competitor activity, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively service existing customer accounts and identify areas for mutual profitable growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement sales strategy in support of business objectives and sales forecast within the wholesaler/contractor with consideration to new product launches, promotions, market trends and competitor activity.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish strong working relationships with existing key customer accounts and work closely with these customers to effectively service their requirements and identify areas for mutual profitable growth.
  • Brand Promotion: Where applicable, work closely with your customers' customers to promote the Timeguard brand.
  • Sales Opportunity Maximisation: Maximize sales opportunities, proactively seek avenues for new business and convert these into profitable sales.
  • Sales Planning and Reporting: Plan, forecast and report upon sales activity within your area against KPI's.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work collaboratively and develop relationships with internal departments and stakeholders.
  • Trade Counter Merchandising: Work with your stockist locations to merchandise Trade Counter areas.

The job is field-based, and a car, laptop & tablet will be provided for you to ensure you are fully prepared when you visit your customers.

A small proportion of the job will be home-based. Home office work space is required.

GIA logic tests and a personality test will be required to be undertaken as part of your interview process. Please ensure these are completed in the specified time and in an environment suitable for you to concentrate.
