Regional Treasury Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Treasury Manager to join our Finance Team in Petaling Jaya. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of regional treasury functions, with a focus on currency exposure, banking relationships, and cash flow reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Manage currency exposure, including analyzing and reporting on flow changes and conducting spot FX transactions on behalf of subsidiaries.
- Provide treasury accounting advisory and analyze FX impact, feeding research and related analytical information for decision-making to business units.
- Help arrange external/internal funding to various subsidiaries, manage in-country liquidity, and ensure excess liquidity is moved to internal bank at parent.
- Manage treasury policy governance and enforcement, power of attorneys in relation to banking authorizations, and key stakeholder in SAP rollout/enhancement initiatives in the region.
- Manage banking relationships, transaction fee arrangements, and follow-up, as well as bank accounts monitoring and control.
- Evaluate dividend distributions in collaboration with tax teams and balance sheet management as regards debt/equity.
- Work with supplier financing solutions together with HO treasury and global teams in terms of program management and new rollouts.
- Optimize risks in payment/receivables process focusing on fraud prevention and e-commerce and new business model initiatives.
- Drive process efficiency in various areas of treasury processes.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or other relevant disciplines.
- Previous experience in the region of APMEA in a medium-scale commercial environment.
- 6-8 years of experience working in multinational organizations will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, focus on details, ability to work independently, and ability to work with a large number of stakeholders.
