Job Title: Executive Vice President

PRASARANA MALAYSIA BERHAD seeks a seasoned Executive Vice President to oversee the strategic planning, management, and implementation of the Open Payments System. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across departments and ensure seamless operation and alignment with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Open Payments System, aligning it with the organisation's overall goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for system enhancement and expansion to meet evolving business needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Manage and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including C-Suites and Board of Directors. Possess strong and professional presentation and communication skills to effectively manage stakeholders and provide project updates to Top Management and Board of Directors.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional development teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of system updates and improvements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the Open Payments System complies with industry regulations and standards. Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the integrity and security of financial transactions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the Open Payments System. Continuously monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Provide a clear direction for successful implementation of the Open Payments System within a high-performing team of professionals. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Engineering/Science, IT, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum of sixteen (16) years of working experience in a related field and managing a similar scale project in an environment close to PRASARANA MALAYSIA BERHAD.
  • Practical experience, industry knowledge, and a track record of success in Open Payments System leadership roles are essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the payments industry landscape, including knowledge of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with and influence non-technical stakeholders in data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to navigate complex technical and business challenges.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering the Open Payments System with customer experience as the top priority.
  • Expertise in identifying and mitigating risks associated with payment processing, fraud prevention, and data security.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial data, assess performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
