The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to cover corporate finance and M&A to drive M&A and strategic expansion for our client's continuous growth plan in Malaysia. This is a strategic business partnering role working directly with c-suite stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Group Finance VP, you will be taking charge of end-to-end M&A deals and business development and investment opportunities in Malaysia. You will be involved in project financing activities with banks and establish relationships and networks for business expansions. You will be involved in market research, industry analysis, due diligence, and building financial models. Working closely with C-Suite senior stakeholders to perform business reviews and support strategic business plans and investment decisions.

Requirements

To be a successful candidate, you must be

  • Degree qualified in Economics/Finance/Accountancy. CFA/CPA will be a plus.
  • At least 5-10 years of M&A, corporate finance experience.
  • Preferred candidate who has worked with project financing exposure.
  • Additionally, strong communication skills are required to drive business partnering and must be able to influence business stakeholders.
