Job Summary

The Technical Service Manager is responsible for leading the Technical Service team to increase service revenue, profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in Malaysia and Singapore. This role involves developing and executing an annual business plan, managing the structure and people of the Service team, and ensuring effective management of field Service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level services to customers and drive business growth in line with the corporate strategy.
  • Develop and execute a business plan to ensure profitable growth of the Service business.
  • Develop the Service team structure and people with a clear development strategy.
  • Manage all aspects of the field Service operation, including installation, service contract, repair service, and service sales.
  • Develop and optimize processes to improve efficiency and profit.
  • Communicate effectively with other functions to maximize the strength of the Country's operation.
  • Participate in the planning and decision-making process of the country management team.
  • Understand the competition and customer needs in the market.
  • Escalate critical issues to ensure quick organizational solutions.
  • Drive service KPIs, including service quality and financial targets.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering or equivalent business experience.
  • Minimum years of Service experience in the related industry.
  • Previous experience in a Management/Leadership role in a Technical Service capacity.
  • Strong business acumen and financial knowledge.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and automation system theory.
  • Solid interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple activities and commitments.
  • Reliable and dependable, with a persistent attitude.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and flexible to travel.

Work Arrangement: Onsite
