Strategic Key Account Executive

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Key Account Manager to join our Category teams in Lazada, supporting Lazada Singapore. This role will be based in KL Malaysia and involves mentoring by a senior member of our Category Management team to drive category growth using analytical and e-commerce merchandising methodologies.
This position requires deep understanding of client needs and providing customized solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient order execution, customer service, and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Manage key client relationships on the Lazada platform to establish and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow key client business.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights for business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient order execution, customer service, and issue resolution.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has demonstrated business judgment with a desire to actively manage and grow their own business. You must be a team player and demonstrate a passion for working cross-functionally to achieve your own and common KPIs. You must be self-motivated and able to quickly dive deep into data to determine root causes of problems and implement scalable solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (especially Pivot Table & vLookup) is required.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in account management, corporate sales or in e-commerce.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing and persuading key decision-makers.
- Familiarity with the e-commerce market and a good sense of market insights.
