Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Support Specialist to join our Global Service Desk team. As an IT Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex problems to senior technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and effective technical support via phone, email, and chat platforms.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and perform basic repairs and maintenance.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or external vendors.
- Document and track all technical support requests and incidents using our service management system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT technical support or a related field.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management principles.
