Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Product Manager to join our esteemed client's team in Selangor. This role will involve driving growth and brand performance at the country level through effective marketing strategies and collaboration with the Country or Regional Commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Integrated Marketing Plan for the Country Marketing function, including Brand, Social Media, Retail, and E-commerce initiatives.
  • Develop and align yearly growth plans for the market to achieve brand and category performance based on market inputs.
  • Consolidate management reports and analyze Brand Health performance, Category performance, market share, product, and pricing information.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Associate Business Director, and Country Marketing to track and monitor A&P spending in the markets.
  • Act as a point of contact and knowledge center for matters from Headquarters, Zone, and local markets/countries.
  • Support the Senior Product Manager in executing Market Research, advertising, trade marketing, NPD, e-commerce, social media, and Foodservice programs, trade events, and other activities as required.
  • Enhance the company's online presence in Malaysia through effective social media strategies and campaigns, increasing brand awareness and engagement.
  • Drive new product development at the market level in accordance with local and global NPD direction and approval procedures.
  • Manage all consumer inquiries.
  • Work on special assignments as assigned by the Senior Product Manager.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business, Marketing, or related fields from recognized universities.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a similar or relevant capacity, preferably in FMCG or a similar industry.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to influence effectively at all levels, with proficiency in multiple languages such as English, Mandarin, and any local languages.
  • Independent, highly self-disciplined, action-oriented, with strong innovative and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiastic, and determined to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel overseas as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of Nielsen Discovery, SAP, and Photoshop is an added advantage.
