Key Responsibilities
  1. Source and Procure High-Quality Raw Materials

Determine the best sources of supply for each product or service needed by the company, based on price, quality, delivery time, and other criteria.

Monitor Supplier Performance

Monitor the performance of suppliers and keep up-to-date with the current market situation in terms of price range.

Develop and Manage Supplier Relationships

Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure that they provide high-quality products at competitive prices.

Ensure Efficient Purchase Order Processing

Ensure that Purchase Orders (POs) issued and approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs) are not pending too long or over-ordered.

Maintain Accurate Records

Daily record updating for all purchasing data in the ERP system.

Manage Quotations and Vendor Lists

Maintain quotation records in computer files and Approved Vendor Lists in computer files, and circulate to the team for new sourcing.

Verify Invoices and Payments

Match invoices/DO with PO/PR upon delivery received.

Prepare Weekly Purchase Plans

Prepare weekly purchase plans, verifying with the requestor on stock records.

Ensure Cash Purchases are Properly Documented

Ensure every cash purchase is attached to a temporary invoice or cash bill for payment preparation.

Assist in Updating Raw Material Delivery Schedules

Assist in updating raw material delivery schedules on a weekly basis.

Update Purchase Details on Raw Material Certificates

Update purchase details on every Raw Material certificate from superiors and pass to QA inspectors for verification.

Manage Requisition and Purchase Transactions

In-charge of the system for requisition and purchase transactions, new item codes, etc.

Issue PR and PO Plans

Issue PR and PO plans for raw materials upon receiving raw material plans from superiors.

Verify Invoices and Process Payments

Handle and verify relevant invoices prior to the Accounts department.

Prepare Weekly Raw Material Purchase and Scrap Reports

Prepare weekly raw material purchase and scrap reports to Management.

Process Modifications to Purchase Agreements

Process modifications to terms and conditions of purchase agreements.

Requirements
  1. Education and Experience

Diploma & above in Supply Chain or at least 3-5 years of working experience in a similar field/position.

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 is a MUST.

Industry Experience

Working experience in Plastic Injection molding, LSR molding, Compression molding will be an added advantage.

Competencies

Good knowledge in negotiation, sourcing, and planning skills.
