Claims Process Improvement Specialist

As a Business Analyst at Oliver James Associates Ltd., you will be responsible for analyzing and improving our claims processing systems and policies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of claims processing and insurance operations, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze current claims processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements for claims solutions.
- Design and develop functional specifications that meet business needs and enhance user experience.
- Work with IT and development teams to implement new systems and enhancements, ensuring they align with business objectives.
- Conduct UAT and support training initiatives to ensure successful system rollouts.
- Monitor system performance and gather feedback to continuously refine claims solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management to highlight findings and recommendations.
- Support compliance and regulatory initiatives related to claims processing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of claims processing and insurance operations.
- Proficiency in process modeling and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
