The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the HOD of IT or team in the facilitation, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of each project for the business need, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-quality, user-friendly web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, fully tested source code, complying with high coding standards, including monitoring and troubleshooting aspects.
- Design mobile-based features and ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability and optimize applications for maximum performance.
- Provide technical assistance during User Acceptance Test and gather feedback from users and customers.
- Write functional requirement documents and guides, and stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
- Convert normal HTML to reusable component libraries.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Have at least 10 to 20 years of proven working experience as a Front-end Developer.
- Be able to perform well in a fast-paced environment and have excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging, and in-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
- Provide suggestions and solutions on client change requests, and be flexible to quickly adjust task priorities for unforeseen changes while following task deadlines.
- Communicate well with different teams without conflict, especially when working together to complete tasks.
- Hands-on experience with frontend technologies such as ReactJS, Redux, Sass/SCSS, ES5/6, and NodeJS.
- Experience in solving problems like caching, pagination, and integrating APIs into websites.
- Knowledgeable on web services and mobile responsive approaches, and familiar with Git Repository.
- Required language(s): English, Malay, and Mandarin.
- Fast learner and experience in leading/guiding junior(s).
- Ability to convert normal HTML to separate components using frontend frameworks.
- Experience in identifying and solving performance issues on websites.
- Understanding of metrics scores such as First Contentful Paint, Time to Interactive, etc.
- Self-motivated to complete targets/goals, and plan several phases of the target/goal and take action to achieve it.
- Willing to share knowledge with others and learn knowledge and skills outside of frontend developer job scope.
- Knowledge on SEO and understanding of layout aesthetics.
