About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our AirAsia team as a Data Insights Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify critical metrics and deliver actionable insights to decision-makers.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain requirements, design, and testing documentation.
  • Communicate solutions to stakeholders and drive improvements as needed.
  • Manage external technical communication with partners and vendors.
  • Adhere to Data Governance as a data auditor for reports/dashboards, analytics, and insights.
Requirements
  • BS/MS/PhD in a Business, IT, Mathematics, Science, or Engineering discipline.
  • Up to 15-18 years of relevant experience beyond the first degree.
  • Strong SQL skills for data analytics and a good understanding of statistics.
  • Familiar or prone to adopting design thinking methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Data Studio.
  • Experience with one of the following languages: Python, R, Java, C/C++, and Scala.
  • Familiar with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
