About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative - Power Systems to join our team at SM2 Consulting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a focus on technical sales and solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Expand business opportunities with EPC firms, contractors, and global organizations through strategic planning and execution.
  2. Provide consultative sales support to customers, leveraging extensive design expertise in power distribution systems compliant with IEC standards.
  3. Collaborate with customers to develop in-depth product application knowledge, covering medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) systems, including transformers, Ring Main Units (RMUs), Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS), and Air-Insulated Switchgear (AIS).
  4. Grow market presence in key segments, such as data centers, manufacturing, and critical infrastructure, by applying strong business acumen and industry connections.
  5. Implement process-oriented and risk-based approaches to champion and uphold the Quality Management System (QMS).
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on technical or solution-based selling.
  • Established network with EPC firms, contractors, and global EPC organizations.
  • Proven expertise in selling Power Distribution Assembly solutions, with strong technical knowledge of MV switchgear, transformers, and related systems.
  • In-depth understanding of power distribution components and systems.
  • Strong commercial acumen and sensitivity to project go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
