Job Description

The Senior Executive, Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients to drive strategic initiatives that support the company's growth in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive business development plans to meet revenue objectives.
  • Identify key market segments and potential clients in solar energy solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Assist in developing business strategies to expand the company's presence in the renewable energy sector.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Foster and sustain strong relationships with industry regulators, vendors, and clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue strategic relationships with other businesses, government entities, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Support negotiations and contract discussions with clients and partners.

Project Coordination & Support:

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide support in feasibility studies, financial modeling, and due diligence for new projects.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities.
  • Analyze customer feedback and market data to enhance product offerings and pricing strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management regarding business development activities and results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably in renewable energy or environmental solutions.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of renewable energy policies, regulations, and industry trends is an added advantage.
