About the Position

The Operations Excellence Manager role at Zurich 56 Company Ltd involves leading the planning, design, and implementation of business requirements and system modifications in projects/initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business analyst responsibilities, operational excellence, and team management, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leverage your expertise to drive the planning, design, and implementation of business requirements and system modifications in projects/initiatives.
  2. Lead business requirements gathering with relevant stakeholders, analyzing and documenting complex business processes requirements and communicating effectively with all parties.
  3. Create and review complex test case scenarios for testing, monitor, and review testing of applications to ensure requirements are incorporated.
  4. Coordinate and manage business analyst tasks within projects, offering guidance and support as needed.
  5. Participate actively in technical reviews to guarantee that change requirements are accurately captured and implemented.
  6. Provide time estimates for tasks related to the project, assisting in effective planning and resource allocation.
  7. Analyze operational metrics and collaborate with stakeholders for improvement opportunities, identifying and implementing initiatives for business efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Establish datasets for periodic operational metrics reporting, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
  9. Apply different delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Lean/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

Required

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, business analytics, computer science, or data analytics.
  2. 8 or more years of experience in a business analyst role, process improvement, data analyst, or similar capacity.
  3. Proven experience in relationship management, business analysis, process improvement, and project management within a corporate environment.
  4. Experience working in business processes and re-engineering, including simplification, digitalization, and automation implementations.
  5. Experience in new product and new distribution channel implementation.
  6. Strong Financial Services or Insurance knowledge.
  7. Proficiency in business process modeling, analysis tools, and methodologies.
  8. Delivered projects using methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.

Preferred:

  1. Good understanding/working experience in computer programming concepts and data analytics.
  2. Good understanding of intelligent automation technologies and capabilities.
  3. General insurance or CX/UI/UX domain capabilities.
  4. Lean Six Sigma certification.

  7. Possesses the ability to integrate customer experience into business process development and identify opportunities.
