We are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at VAT Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn Bhd. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality control and inspection in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve Inspection Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to enhance inspection cycle time, reducing delays and increasing productivity.
  • Quality Gate Management: Establish and maintain quality gates to ensure that all products meet our stringent quality standards.
  • Measurement System Analysis: Conduct Measurement System Analyses (MSA, Gauge R&R) to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our measurement equipment.
  • Disposition and Reporting: Make informed decisions on non-conforming products and prepare ISIR reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: Train and coach Metrology Engineers, Technicians, and Operators to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Complaint Management: Manage internal and external complaints, implementing containment and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
  • Technical Drawing and Alignment: Conduct thorough reviews of technical drawings and ensure alignment with customer and supplier requirements.
  • Equipment Calibration: Monitor and perform calibration on measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Process and Procedure Development: Create and maintain process and quality procedures, work instructions, and OCAPs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Quality Support: Provide support on various quality-related issues and projects to achieve company and department goals.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Experience: Experience in CMM programming (preferably Mitutoyo) and knowledge of Measurement System Analyses (MSA, Gauge R&R) and Result analyses.
  • Skills: Statistical Process Control and experience in ISO 9001.
