Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Digital Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our process optimization team, you will be responsible for providing expert support to our manufacturing sites, leveraging digital technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Process Optimization: Provide L3 and L4 Uniformance operations support to Manufacturing Sites, including ongoing work processes, upgrades, and projects for refineries and chemical plants.
- Digital Transformation: Optimize Uniformance tool and features for Business teams' day-to-day decision-making process.
- Industrial Automation: Digitalize Manufacturing environment by working closely with Manufacturing Engineering Division on digital improvement opportunities.
- Data Visualization: Work with Business Teams across Refinery and Chemical sites to identify and define how data visualization can deliver business value.
- Application Consultancy: Provide application consultancy and support across a broad portfolio of applications spanning various platforms and technologies.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Application Engineers to ensure applications utilization are operating at optimum level.
- Technology Roadmap: Maintain strong working relationship with Manufacturing Control Systems on technology roadmap, upgrades, enhancements, or initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Experience: Experience with database management (SQL), Ms.Excel macros, and other digital related work deliverables.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers, troubleshooting skills, innovative and analytical thinking, intellectual rigor, strong drive, and desire to lead change.
- Culture: Ability to work in a multi-cultural global team and understand operational aspects such as high availability, monitoring, security, and robustness.
