Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Banking Specialist to join our team at Hong Leong Bank. As a key player in our Business & Corporate Banking division, you will be responsible for driving commercial banking sales and delivering sales targets assigned by management.

This role reports to the Manager, Business & Corporate Banking (CMB Centre), where you will work closely with product partners to meet financial and banking requirements of clients in a holistic manner. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new account relationships, managing a portfolio of existing Commercial Banking Account relationships, and growing both funded income and non-funded income.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Acquire new account relationships through proactive prospecting and relationship-building activities.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing Commercial Banking Account relationships to grow both funded income and non-funded income.
  • Write credit applications for new account acquisition and ensure timely review and renewal of existing accounts.
  • Ensure acceptable asset quality of existing portfolio by being proactive and up-to-date in terms of market intelligence related to accounts and industry of portfolio management.
