Director, Global Shared Services Centre
The Visionary Leader for the Global Shared Services Centre will be responsible for driving the vision, management, and oversight of the service centre. This role requires a strong leader who can provide quality assurance and unifying leadership for all shared services, ensuring responsiveness of services and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Directs and oversees coordinated management transactions services delivered from GSSC to UNDP and external clients.
- Performance Management: Ensures that GSSC delivers services against set performance targets, articulates a clear client services model, and secures service level agreements with clients.
- Operations Management: Ensures efficient and effective operations at the GSSC, leading an integration and coordination team to identify business process reengineering opportunities and streamline services.
- Financial Sustainability: Ensures the financial sustainability of the GSSC, overseeing the implementation of financial sustainability initiatives and managing client strategies to ensure GSSC financial sustainability.
- Knowledge Management: Leads knowledge management and innovation, encouraging knowledge creation and management, establishing and maintaining knowledge and innovation partnerships.
About You:
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a strong background in management, including experience in leading diverse and remotely situated teams, client relationship management, data analysis, and organizational change management. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of experience leading one or more of the following management areas: finance, human resources, and procurement. Fluency in English is a requirement.
What We Offer:
UNDP offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
