The role will be responsible for collaborating with the CFS and Merchant teams to acquire new merchants and grow sales from various channels within a designated portfolio.
This includes:
- Focusing on merchant account acquisition, bringing in New-To-Bank (NTB) merchant accounts to increase the non-GE merchant segment.
- Managing an assigned merchant portfolio by building strong relationships with merchants and preventing attrition.
- Working with the Card Usage Team on marketing promotions by soliciting offers.
- Participating in Bank's ongoing project initiatives for new business channels or system enhancements.
- Participating in Bank's ongoing compliance activities, including Merchant High-risk review, Third Party Service Provider Review, and merchant site visits.
Required Qualifications
A background in merchant management is an advantage; at least 5 years of experience in Account/ Client Management, Business Development, or Partnership.
- Excellent stakeholder and team player skills to achieve outstanding results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, comfortable with middle to senior-level negotiations.
- Ability to derive and convey actionable insights from data and research.
- Enthusiastic and effective problem-solving skills.
