**Deputy Group Chief Financial Officer - International Trade**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Group Chief Financial Officer to join our team at TIME's Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing critical support to our country offices and HQ units in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting the financial performance of their overseas programs/projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Performance Monitoring: Provide critical support to country offices and HQ units in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting the financial performance of their overseas programs/projects.
  • Budget Development and Management: Work closely with the HQ to develop and manage budgets, taxation, improve financial operations and processes, and monitor financial performance in accordance with approved overseas project work plans.
  • Business Risk Management: Assure business risk is being managed according to compliance with finance, budget, and contracts requirements in accordance with the company policies and procedures locally and overseas.
  • Financial Analysis and Planning: Participate in the overall budgeting and financial analysis process and support the HQ Finance & Accounting teams as needed.
  • Strategic Planning and Decision Support: Coordinate critical strategic/business contingency planning and decision support for assigned regions and foreign clients, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, applicable regulatory requirements, specific donor requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Cross-Border Business Operations: Play an essential role in facilitating and supporting the smooth operation of cross-border business, providing the tools and mechanisms necessary to manage the financial risks and complexities associated with trading across borders.
  • Expense and Revenue Monitoring: Monitor expenses and revenues to ensure that the portfolio spends according to the available revenue and that restricted funds are used according to the company policies/procedures and related foreign regulations.
  • Operational Analysis: Perform analysis on overseas operational activities including historical, current, and projected revenue and expense, cash flow, variances, and costs.
  • Field Office Support: Plan and execute regular visits to field offices to provide hands-on oversight and support in meeting internal and external financial and programmatic goals if needed.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide ad hoc/periodical reports to management as and when required and keep project and HQ management advised of situations which have potential negative impact on financial performance.
  • Contract and Agreement Monitoring: Assist with monitoring, tracking, and reporting of contract and agreement deliverables.
  • Cost Recovery and Due Diligence: Provide expert guidance on the allocability and allowability of costs and recommendations for recovering program costs within foreign and local regulations, and manage/perform due diligence process before undertaking any overseas projects.
