About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Retail Operations Lead to head our Retail Operations Readiness Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless implementation of technology changes through effective testing, training, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage multiple teams to drive project initiatives and execution.
  2. Oversee RORC operations and handle escalation cases.
  3. Work closely with the Center of Excellence and Head office in project planning and resource management.
  4. Gather and understand Business Requirements and Functional Specs/User Story documents.
  5. Ensure the team provides operational readiness support and conducts training on new systems/enhancements to impacted operations and/or business users.
  6. Provide post-implementation support to operations users.
  7. Prepare, review, and submit management reports as required by the Bank's Software Development Framework.
  8. Foster a continuous improvement and innovative culture to drive efficiency towards excellence.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience preferably in financial institutions.
  • Well-versed in operations especially Swift standard in either AS400/Mainframe applications, Internet/Mobile Banking applications, Cards and Channels applications.
  • Good knowledge and experience in handling testing or test management life cycle.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation skills.
  • Experience in managing multiple teams.
  • Able to take ownership of issues and take them to closure.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across various disciplines and levels.
  • Mature individual with strong leadership, influencing, and problem resolution skills.
  • Lead human resource planning, development, and staff management.
