About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Account & Administration Executive to join our finance team at KAM CITY TRADING SDN BHD. This full-time role based in Balakong, Selangor, involves a range of accounting and administrative duties that are crucial to the smooth operation of our growing company.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, and prepare financial statements
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process
- Provide assistance with payroll processing, tax filings, and other regulatory compliance requirements
- Handle administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, coordinating travel arrangements, and providing general administrative support to the team
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and auditors
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably in the trading or manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management
- Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero, and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to maintain accurate and organised financial records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
- A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
