About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to support the expansion of Singaporean businesses into Malaysia. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in facilitating the growth plans and business needs of our clients in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Intelligence: Develop a strong understanding of industry trends in Malaysia and identify opportunities for Singapore businesses to expand their presence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders in Malaysia, including corporate leaders and industry experts.
  • Business Development: Facilitate the growth plans and business needs of Singapore-based companies in Malaysia, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives.
  • Project Facilitation: Monitor and analyze business regulations and provide actionable market intelligence to support project facilitation efforts.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on the progress of various project facilitation efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • A recognized degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven business development experience with market knowledge in the Malaysian context.
  • Proactive mindset with strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu is a must.
  • Strong networking and business development skills.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to travel regularly.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within a small, collaborative team.
  • Innovative thinker with a strategic mindset.
