Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Pricing Strategist to join our team at Mah Sing Healthcare Sdn Bhd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating costs associated with raw materials, production processes, packaging, and distribution to identify areas for cost reduction improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and evaluate costs associated with raw materials, production processes, packaging, and distribution to identify areas for cost reduction improvement opportunities.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost optimization initiatives, such as process improvements, waste reduction, supplier negotiations, and alternative sourcing strategies.

Pricing Strategy and Cost Optimization:

  1. Determine appropriate pricing strategies considering costs, market dynamics, competitive factors, and profit margins.
  2. Collaborate with Sales teams to identify and implement cost optimization initiatives.

ERP Costing System Management:

  1. Maintain and review costing system monthly to ensure accuracy. Ensure the costing system is up-to-date and aligned with standard cost.

Reporting and Analysis:

  1. Generate monthly reports on cost variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs), organize monthly meetings with relevant stakeholders to highlight and address potential variances.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  2. At least 2-4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  3. Knowledge of requirements for Financial Reporting Standards and costing methods.
  4. Experience in integrated real-time ERP systems is an added advantage.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
