Technical Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Center Technical Manager to join our team at Prysmian Group. As a Data Center Technical Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data center strategy, providing technical expertise to the sales team, and serving as the internal expert on data center technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:- Product Development:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and technologies in the data center market.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Prysmian's data center product portfolio, including cables, connectivity solutions, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to develop new products and solutions tailored to the specific needs of the data center market.
- Stay abreast of industry standards and regulations related to data center infrastructure.
- Data Center Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data center strategy aligned with Prysmian's overall business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the data center segment.
- Work together with the sales team to develop strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, and consultants.
- Represent Prysmian at industry events and conferences.
- Sales Support:
- Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team in closing data center opportunities.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and training to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare technical documentation, including proposals, presentations, and white papers.
- Conduct site visits and technical assessments to support customer projects.
- Technical Expertise:
- Serve as the internal expert on data center technologies and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to customers and internal teams.
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies, such as AI, edge computing, and sustainability.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering with marketing knowledge related field. MBA will be an advantage.
- At least 8 years of work experience acquired from similar industry or large system integrator.
- Proficient knowledge in cabling solutions associated in Structured Cabling, Building Management Systems (Access Controls), Security and Fire Safety etc. Strong knowledge in management vendors, end users.
- Experience in driving the brand through consultants, distributor, partners training and events.
- Good command of English.
- Good understanding of structured cabling solution.
- Data center certification (CDCP) will be an advantage.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Independent and self-starter.
- Presentation skill and knowledge in Microsoft Office.
