Key Responsibilities:
- Sector Identification and Pipeline Management: Identify and prioritize sectors for growth, building and managing sponsor pipelines to achieve agreed new business and revenue targets.
- Proposal Development: Develop strategic proposals that meet the needs of prospective partners, highlighting the value proposition of our products and services.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of proposals, including customer journeys from purchase to engagement.
- Technology Enablement: Collaborate with product and IT teams to integrate technology with partners, ensuring a convenient and seamless customer experience.
- New Partner Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new partners, ensuring timely and effective implementation of agreed plans.
- Market Insights: Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform business decisions.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary education with 5+ years working experience primarily on new account acquisition.
- Proven track record in business development, with exposure to all distribution channels, particularly digital.
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills, with excellent presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of customer segments, journeys, and sales approaches in developing creative partnerships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and confident individual.
