**Job Description**:
As the Team Leader & Assistant Manager - Ocean Export, you involve leading and overseeing a backend team that supports freight forwarding operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Shanghai. You will be responsible for task assignment, monitoring team performance, offering guidance and support, and ensuring the team adheres to company policies and procedures

As a Team Leader & Assistant Manager, you will:

- Operational Coordination: The export team is divided into three sections (Quick Booking, Console and Shipping Instruction) each playing a crucial role in facilitating the smooth execution of international shipments. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and guide each section, ensuring that customer service standards are met and non-routine or complex issues are efficiently resolved. You will collaborate closely with customers, facilitating seamless communication, to guarantee a high level of service and address any customer concerns.
- Supervising and Developing the Export Team: Oversee the export team's growth and progress through the provision of learning and developmental chances, coaching, feedback, and periodic evaluations.
- Daily KPI Reporting and Backlog Monitoring: Generate daily Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and track team members' backlog progress.
- Achieve Consistent Customer Service Standards: Ensure that customer service standards are consistently met and handle troubleshooting and resolution of non-routine or complex issues and escalations.
- Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures: Ensure that all processes are aligned with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A diploma or degree in Logistics or a relevant field.
- Proven experience in ocean export operations (Air or Ocean), with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Proficiency in Mandarin with the ability to speak, write, and read, as the role involves supporting clients in China.
