**Job Description**:
Activities of the team may include:
- Develop and maintain effective and professional customer relationships.
- Support account management and transaction processing.
- Provide product and technical support as it relates to customer transactions, customer feedback and other requests.
- Liaise with internal and external customer / stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are achieved and agreed service standards are met.
- Responding to customer queries and resolving issues as defined by customer agreement and relevant processes. Team leader responsible for managing teams who deliver clear operational goals and objectives.
In addition to their management responsibility, these roles require specialist experience in their work function.
**Qualifications**:
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader, Export to join our Centre of Excellence (CoE), in Penang, Malaysia. Lead with approachability. Inspire and build relationships. Evaluate our efficiencies and ways to improve. Drive success to new heights.
As a Team Leader, you will:
- Consistently meets customer service standards and troubleshoot and resolve non-routine or complex issues / escalations.
- Prepare daily KPI report and monitor backlog of team members.
- Supervise and develop team through learning & development, coaching, feedback & reviews.
- Ensure all the process in line with Standard Operating Procedure.
- Train new staff of daily operation requirements for 1 month and to manage and schedule workforce during peak period.
Additional Information
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least three years’ experience in the Freight Forwarding industry.
- Experience with leadership, coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback to team members to enhance overall performance.
- A strong customer focus and with a strong team ethic.
- The ability to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Excellent time management skills to manage high volume in a fast-paced environment.
