**Job Summary**:
The Mechanic Tech Training Manager will oversee the development and execution of technical training programs for mechanics and service technicians to enhance their skills in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. This role is responsible for creating training materials, conducting hands-on training sessions, and evaluating mechanic proficiency to ensure alignment with company standards and industry best practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Training Program Development**:

- Design, implement, and update comprehensive training programs for new and existing mechanics, focusing on Sany’s heavy equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure training content remains current with technological advancements and repair standards.
- Develop training materials, manuals, and guides to facilitate understanding of complex mechanical processes.
- **Training Delivery**:

- Conduct classroom, hands-on, and in-field training sessions to cover preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and safety standards.
- Deliver specialized training for unique equipment, complex repairs, and high-level diagnostics.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to technicians as needed to address skill gaps.
- **Evaluation and Assessment**:

- Establish competency benchmarks and assess mechanics’ skills through practical evaluations and certifications.
- Track and report individual and group progress, adjusting training strategies based on assessment results and feedback.
- Conduct regular evaluations to ensure trained mechanics maintain high standards of service and safety compliance.
- **Continuous Improvement and Reporting**:

- Gather feedback from trainees, supervisors, and management to identify areas for improvement in training programs.
- Regularly review and update training materials in response to technological advancements, equipment updates, and industry trends.
- Report to the Service Operations Manager on training outcomes, participant progress, and ongoing training needs.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Reinforce safety standards and compliance with regulatory guidelines during all training sessions.
- Collaborate with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams to integrate HSE protocols within the training framework.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Diploma/bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field;
- SKM3 Cert or equivalent experience in heavy equipment mechanics and repair.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 7 years of hands on experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, with at least 3 years in a training or supervisory role.
- Hands-on experience with Sany or similar heavy equipment brands (e.g., Hitachi, Caterpillar, Volvo) is a strong advantage.
- **Skills**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Proven ability to create engaging training materials and deliver effective, hands-on training.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
