**JOB PURPOSE**:
The Manager - Fixed Income is responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of fixed income funds managed by PMB Investment Berhad. The role involves achieving desired returns as set by the management while adhering to regulatory guidelines and clients' expectations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Fund Management**:

- Develop and implement strategies to manage fixed income funds in alignment with clients' requirements and objectives.
- Ensure adherence to rules and guidelines established by the relevant authorities governing fund management.Monitor the performance of fixed income funds to achieve optimal returns.

**Investment Strategy Implementation**:

- Execute investment strategies formulated during the Investment Operating Committee and Investment Committee meetings.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented strategies and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Conduct thorough sector and company analysis to support investment decision-making.

**Income Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Monitor the income generated by the fixed income funds for distribution purposes.
- Prepare strategy reports for discussion and review at the Investment Operating Committee and Investment Committee meetings.
- Prepare regular strategy reports for distribution to clients on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Generate other reports related to fund operations as requested by the Management.

**Market Awareness and Proactive Approach**:

- Stay updated with the latest developments in capital markets and identify opportunities for the benefit of the managed funds.
- Take a proactive approach to capitalize on market developments and optimize fund performance.

**Operational Efficiency**:

- Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of operational activities within the Investment Department.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

**REQUIREMENT**

**Knowledge**
- Flair in business and investment research and analysis, business management & strategy and information technology

**Experience**
- Minimum 3 years in fund management related activities and having asset management representative license issued by the Securities Commission.

**Personality traits relevant to the job**
- Excellent inter -personal skills
- Good report writing skill
- Flair for technology
- Good networking internal & external
