Job Scope: Event Business Development Executive

Position Summary:
Responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in the event management sector. This role combines event planning expertise with strategic sales and client relationship management to grow the company’s event portfolio and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new clients and partnership opportunities in the events industry.
- Prepare and submit competitive proposals and tender documents for long-term event contracts.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain and expand the client database through networking and research.

2. Event Planning & Coordination
- Collaborate with the event planning team to design event packages tailored to client needs.
- Support the team in coordinating event logistics to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide input on event feasibility, budgeting, and timelines during the proposal stage.

3. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for key clients throughout the sales and event lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Collect client feedback and work with internal teams to enhance service offerings.

4. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Provide insights to management for strategic planning and product development.

5. Reporting & Administration
- Prepare regular sales and activity reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and client communications.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or event management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
