RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan & manage logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies & customers.
- Manage all inbound and outbound shipments including custom clearance and insurance for any mode of transport/ shipment or self-collection.
- Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times and transport cost. Negotiate rates with transportation and logistics providers while recommending optimal transport modes, routes and frequency.
- Deliver solutions to logistics’ problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports and exports or customer issues while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
- Work closely with Government related agencies to ensure TTDA complies with all rules and regulations on Logistics’ issues.
- Application for SST exemption for import item to KASTAM. (K1 form) and checking of K2 form from forwarder before confirmation of shipment.
- Liaise with Accounts department for any bank guarantee and duty payment needed for clearance process. Eg. LC.
- Responsible for proper filing and documentation in order to comply with Audit requirements.
- Arrange for packing of Finished goods for delivery or shipment.
- Liaise with Production team on readiness & packing of Finished goods.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor or Diploma of any field.
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in Manufacturing environment.
- Some knowledge in export and import procedures especially for Asian countries.
- Knowledge in purchasing/ logistics procedures and understand the documentation required.
- Able to plan and organize in order to meet datelines.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
