Potager is more than just a restaurant. The centre stage is restaurant **Potager**, helmed by **Chef Masashi Horiuchi** who previously carved a name for himself at Entier and now carries his prowess to this new space where craft meets provenance. As his food ethos evolves, so does his menu, now presented as multi-course tasting experience reflecting the daily harvests of the restaurant’s adjacent farm that will dictate the pulse of his cooking. Potager is a celebration of the harvests of the land and the seasonal treasures that are grown by our local terroir. It also tells the story of the hands that craft each menu, from the farm hands that grow the food to the kitchen staff that turn them into edible resources meant to be celebrated. Within, it is also home to a wine lounge, four private dining rooms and a test kitchen serving as an incubation platform for upcoming culinary talents.

**Restaurant Manager**

On top of overseeing the day-to-day operations of Potager as a whole, we are looking for a Restaurant Manager to also spearhead strategy and set goals for growth of the restaurant. He or she will work closely with Chef Masashi to maintain budgets and optimise expenses, manage employees, handle guests who come to the four different concepts within Potager, ensure employees work productively and develop professionally and oversee recruitment and training of new employees. Where applicable, he or she will work alongside the General Manager to set policies and processes and to ensure health and safety regulations and manage inventory. He or she also needs to be a good communicator with excellent customer service skills, staying tactful, friendly and polite to customers while balancing the good sales skills to promote menus.

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Potager. He or she will:

- spearhead strategy and set goals for growth of the restaurant
- work closely with Chef Masashi to maintain budgets and optimise expenses
- manage employees to ensure they work productively and develop professionally
- oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- handle guests who come to the four different concepts within Potager
- where applicable, he or she will work alongside the General Manager to set policies and processes and to ensure health and safety regulations and manage inventory
- needs to be a good communicator with excellent customer service skills
- has the ability to stay tactful, friendly and polite to customers while balancing good sales skills to promote menus

**Skills**:

- Minimum WSET Level 2, WSET Level 3 (preferred) or CMS Level 2
- Fluent in English and second language (French preferred)
- Minimum 6 years working experience in hospitality industry
- Minimum 2 years working in a managerial role
- Experience in Michelin starred restaurants (preferred)

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
