**Overview**:

- rhi is recruiting for an Employee Relations & People Advisor for our oil & gas client based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- In this role, you will be the first point of contact for line managers, advising them on people management policies, employee relations, and internal processes. You’ll provide data-driven guidance, resolve queries efficiently, and ensure HR activities are compliant, smooth, and effective.
- ** Contract Duration**: 12 months
- ** Working Arrangement**: Onsite
- ** Interview process**: 1 level of virtual interview

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the first point of contact for line managers across various entities on people-related topics
- Provide policy guidance and advisory on HR processes including onboarding, performance management, compensation cycle, recognition, promotions, and exits
- Coach managers on best practices in goal-setting, feedback conversations, talent reviews, and managing sensitive or informal ER issues
- Manage and triage inquiries using internal ticketing systems like Salesforce, ensuring efficient resolution or proper escalation
- Ensure data accuracy by reviewing and validating HR transactions across platforms (Workday or equivalent)
- Identify opportunities for improving processes, policies, and service delivery—contributing to knowledge base and process documentation
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of business context, local labor regulations, internal governance, and HR policies

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business
- 3-5 years’ experience in HR advisory, employee relations, or a shared services environment
- Confident in guiding line managers on policies and coaching them through people processes
- Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems and analytics tools
- Strong communicator, a problem-solver, and someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setup
