**Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic HR Planning**: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives, ensuring HR practices support organizational growth and success.
- **Recruitment and Staffing**: Oversee the recruitment process of all departments, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees. Ensure staffing levels meet organizational needs and support workforce planning.
- **Payroll Management**:Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll, including managing payroll systems, addressing payroll inquiries, and ensuring compliance with statutory deductions and tax regulations.
- **Employee Relations**:Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and implementing programs that enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
- **HR Policies and Procedures**: Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures. Ensure that all HR practices are consistent with company policies and legal requirements.
- **Performance Reviews**: Assist in coordinating the annual performance review process in collaboration with department heads and other relevant personnel.
- **Training Coordination**: Liaise with departments, training institutions, consultants, and government bodies on training initiatives. Ensure HR staff are trained effectively to perform their roles efficiently.
- **Reward and Recognition**: Assist in the development and implementation of reward and recognition programs to motivate and retain employees.
- **Reporting and Analysis**: Generate and analyze HR reports to track metrics such as turnover rates, recruitment effectiveness, and employee satisfaction. Use data to make informed decisions and improve HR practices.
- **Market Analysis**: Gather and analyze market data on compensation and benefits to develop competitive compensation packages that attract and retain talent.
- **Termination and Compensation Management**: Manage the employee termination process and oversee staff compensation and benefits, including annual reviews. Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.

**Job Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- **Relevant Experience**:Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources or a related discipline, and at least 2 years management experience with a strong understanding of the Employment Act and Malaysia Labour Law.
- **Leadership**: Proven experience in a leadership role with exposure to a broad range of HR techniques and practices.
- **Analytical Skills**: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze issues, develop innovative solutions, and improve organizational effectiveness in alignment with company objectives and goals.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Malay. Proficiency in preparing written reports, policies, action plans, and other necessary documentation. Mandarin language skills would be an advantage.
- **HR Expertise**: In-depth knowledge and skills in HR functions such as recruitment (both local and foreign workers), employee relations, workforce planning, etc.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Immediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- **Collaborative and Independent Work**: Ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently.
