Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to meet the company requirement.
- Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks to ensure the operation is smooth.
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, pricing, timelines and others.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation in system and makesure up to date.
- Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
- Ensuring that all raw material items are meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets of purchasing.
- Working to improve purchasing systems and standard operation processes (SOP).
- Training new employees in the purchasing process/purchasing system.
