As a Business Development Manager specialising in ventilation equipment for the food processing industry for Southeast Asia, your primary responsibility is to identify and develop new business opportunities, nurture existing relationships, and drive revenue growth. You will work to understand the unique needs and challenges of food processing facilities and recommend appropriate solutions to improve their operational efficiency, safety, and compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Market Research and Analysis:

- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the food processing and ventilation sectors.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market niches, and competitors.
- Analyse market data to develop effective sales and marketing strategies.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in food processing facilities, such as plant managers, engineers, and safety officers.
- Understand clients' specific needs and challenges related to ventilation and air quality control.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
- Present ventilation equipment solutions and their benefits to clients through demonstrations, presentations, and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business deals.

Product Knowledge
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure you can address client inquiries effectively.

Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure that the ventilation solutions recommended comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Provide clients with guidance on regulatory compliance.

Networking and Partnerships:

- Develop partnerships and collaborations with industry associations, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand your network and stay informed.

Pipeline Management:

- Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline, tracking prospects, leads, and opportunities.
- Utilize CRM software (Sales Force) and sales tools to manage and report on your sales activities.

Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Research and Development team, engineering, marketing, and customer service, to meet client needs and maintain customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably with 10 years of sales and technical experiences
- Strong understanding of the food processing industry and its unique requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Technical knowledge of ventilation equipment and systems.

Working days : 5 days
- Location : Subang Jaya
- Nature of Business :Finland based kitchen ventilation for industrial usage

**Salary**: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
